Coming to you live from the Metra train departing Big Timber at 3:22, arriving at Union Station Chicago at 4:49. Let’s see if I can write this blog before the end of the line. (Never wrote live from a train, not to mention on my teeny tiny iPhone. Bumpity-bump.)

Today is my birthday. Why thank you very much! See… I know what you are thinking, and you are sending me good wishes. Thanks! I spent a lovely morning with my mom. Her lady friends sang and had presents and cards for me. Then, breakfast with my sister. Now, on the train to have dinner downtown with my sons and spend the weekend. ( Yes!!!! Chicago pizza!!!! I missed you!!!!)

Thank you Mr. Dan. When I got to Union Station, it was a mad house. My son couldn’t find me, then we couldn’t find our way up to street level for a while. Then, we got to the streets and it was raining with slush puddles and long taxi lines, so we walked back to his place, about 20 minutes. We were cold and soaked, BUT it was great! My other son joined us, we ordered Chicago deep dish pizza and watched a movie. Great birthday,
