“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
[Meditations Divine and Moral]”

I could be mistaken, but I believe the bitter winter weather has sailed past Texas. Now, I’m not speaking for our neighbors to the north. Tomorrow is only April 1st, and anything is possible. But, for us, the buds are popping from their branches and fuzzy green shoots of grass, (and weeds of course), are bursting through the dry brown earth. However, if we don’t get a lot more rain, we’re going to have only dry brown earth this summer. “Hope springs eternal.”
Here’s a week in a peek. Enjoying the sun, fun, and friends.
