Wednesday Words of Wisdom

“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”

Blessings come in many forms. But, if you are blessed with even one true friend, you are the richest person alive.

**************
I have been blessed with so many friends during my lifetime. From childhood friends, high school giggling girls, bowling buddies, carpool moms, to empty nester girlfriends, every friendship is special. One friend is not more important than the other, and there is always room for one more. That’s how blessings work. You can never have too many blessings or too many friends.

Today, a few friends met for lunch at Snug to celebrate Sherry’s birthday. The great thing about having talented, artistic, creative friends, is they make or find the most wonderful gifts for your birthday. (Can’t wait until my birthday in a couple months…hint…hint.)

Not to toot my own horn…toot-toot, but I painted these yellow rose of Texas wine glasses, fresh out of the oven. (I baked them last night.) Homemade gifts are the best.

Good food and good friends, what more can you ask for?
