Theme Song Thursday: I Walk Alone

This morning, I walked alone. You may ask why, and the answer is,  ‘cuz it’s so dang hot out! No one is crazy enough to go out and walk with me. After my 8:30 zumba class, I was so energized that I came home , grabbed a bottle of water, (in my very special beer koozie) put on my new Notre Dame visor, (also a gift from Joe and Lindsay’s wedding) and scurried out for a long walk. It was only 11 am and only 92 degrees, so I wanted to get out before it got too hot. Ha ha! But, there was a breeze, so I walked about  1 1/4 hours. 

  
Funny, I didn’t bump into anyone else out walking today. Hmm? Nor yesterday when I was walking… 

 
So here comes the theme song part. While walking down the boulevard… of broken dreams… I walked alone… and thought of this song. Most apropros.

And here is “my shadow that’s the only one that walks beside me.” I found a lucky penny. I may walk alone, but someone up there is looking out for me.
