Friday: More State Fair Photos and a Feather

9 Oct

To have a different life you have be a different person. You have to do what you haven’t done. You have to become the person that fits that dream. But most of all, you have to realize that if you don’t step into your story it becomes the moral of the story. Your inaction is a lesson you leave to your kids– I was too afraid to change.” ― Shannon L. Alder

I had so many pictures from the Texas State Fair yesterday. So, I’m going to share more today. As I said, I’d never been to a state fair.

Didn’t want to even think abput the Ferris wheel. Yikes! The kiddie rides looked more my style.

“You talkin’ ta me?”

“Como se llama?”

“Butter late than never!” Not sure why, but I had a hankerin’ for pancakes.

Of course, my friend Elaine Adams always wins a ribbon at the fair.(upper porch scene. Very nice.)

Beautiful architectural details and murals everywhere.

Always a good sign…I found a lucky feather while walking around.

I stepped out of my box, tried something new and fun, “I boldly went where no Toni Andrukaitis has gone before.” ( I’m a Star Trek fan and now, a fan of the fair.)
