Friday:) Forever Friends

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?” ― A.A. Milne

Another fun day packed with activities and adventures with my dear friend, Debbie, visiting from Chicago.

We started out by going to 8:3o a.m. Mass.

Then, off to the Donut Kithcen restaurant for a donut and coffee.

It was Third Monday Trade Days on Highway 380, which is Friday, Saturday and Sunday…which makes absolutely no sense. I found a few crosses/crucifixes for my collection and some white milk glass vases.

Later, a delicious lunch at Taqueria Hernandez for gorditas and chile relleno.

The weather was amazing, warm, and sunny, in the 60’s. We walked around the square, looking in shops and antique shops. We worked up an appetite…not really…we were still stuffed, but too nice not to sit and enjoy some Blue Bell Ice Cream at Sweet Spot Bakery.

Goodies Texas Chocolates on the Square…NO… We didn’t get any chocolates! Just some post cards.

I am very blessed to have so many special friends. The kind who use short easy words like “What about lunch.”
