“And as the years have passed, the time has grown longer. The sad truth is that what I could recall in five seconds all too needed ten, then thirty, then a full minute – like shadows lengthening at dusk. Someday, I suppose, the shadows will be swallowed up in darkness.”
― Haruki Murakami

July rolled in like a lion and most likely will roll out like a lion. Summer in Texas is living up to its spicy hot weather reputation. But, we were blessed with a lovely mild Spring, so we can’t complain. Well yes, we can complain! That’s what people in Texas do every summer.
It was a great week with friends, 4th of July, art, music, dancing and singing, and of course, beautiful photos of the grand babies that keep me going till I can hold them in person.
Happy Monday, my friends.
