Today, I am thankful for my beautiful loving family. The first part of my visit to Chicago started out with my sister picking me up from wild and crazy O’Hare Airport Tuesday. We stopped for dinner and then back to her house. Wednesday, we ran errands and stopped at the AT&T store, where my sister bought me an early Christmas present. Merry Christmas to me. No more dropped calls and garbled interrupted conversations. iPhone 8 with LOTS of GBs.
Wednesday afternoon, my sister drove me to Northbrook, where I’ll be staying with my son, daughter-in-law, and two adorable grand daughters for a few days. I haven’t seen these little angles since last Christmas.
Aren’t they adorable? Yes they are. The little one was only a couple of weeks when I saw her in December. Yikes! She’s gotten so big.
I went for a walk with the dog this afternoon. The fall colors are really spectacular. We walked the neighborhood for a little over a mile.

Yes, I’m very thankful today, and every day.
