Wednesday:) Walking On The Wild Side

9 Apr

“We need the tonic of wildness…At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.”

― Henry David Thoreau

It was a beautiful warm and sunny day, the temps getting well into the 90’s. I’m very fortunate that my house stays cool, even on the warm days. Must be good insulation and sturdy windows. Most of the neighbors had their air conditioners humming when I went for my walk.

I love the beauty that Mother Nature shares while I walk on the wild side. “The tonic of wildness.” I enjoy taking pictures, observing, and soaking in the sights and sounds.

Two love birds by the pond, enjoying a Spring day.

Pretty pansies along the way.

A happy bird sharing a happy tune.

I’m proud to end the day in the greatest country in the world. We are going through some tough times, but count your blessings and not your troubles. Stay safe out there, folks.
