“I don’t drink coffee, and can’t stand the taste or smell of coffee, but I sure do enjoy painting with coffee.”

I’m rather enjoying coming up with a time-lapse video every Tuesday, mostly because it entices me to do something creative or artistic at least once a week. Now, here’s a BIG TIP for those of you thinking about doing a time-lapse painting video. Pay attention… Make sure the camera is on time-lapse NOT on plain old video! MAN!
I did the entire video in regular speed, moving very slowly, not speaking, with several different canvases in different stages of dryness. When I went to check the cute rapid video, it was almost 15 minutes long. 🤦♀️ That wouldn’t be half bad, but in order to create a time-lapse video, I had to start from scratch with new canvases and paper. Yikes! But, that’s OK, what else do I have to do all night, right? Here ya go…

Heard on a podcast about an event planner stuck at home like us. So he sends notes to all his neighbors and invites the neighborhood to bring out folding chairs and their own drink and sit in their yards and visit with each other. Woman telling this said she had to talk louder to be heard but it was worth it. Her husband is an extrovert and he loved it. Heard the story and thought of you…
That sounds like fun. Some of the neighbors do get together and try to distance, but they have little kids who don’t understand. I’m still baking and share with a few neighbors. I miss my firemen. They still can’t accept my homemade goodies yet. I fear they will get so skinny without me.
Hang in there and stay healthy.
😁
That’s a beautiful painting and a unique way to create. Well done, Toni!
Thank you, Mark. I like be to share my art with others and it seems these quick videos inspire.
