Saturday:)Sights and Signs of Spring

5 Mar

“Every man and every living creature has a sacred right to the gladness of springtime.”— Leo Tolstoy

The temperature in North Texas has varied from sultry upper 80’s to frigid 40’s…and usually in the same day. The unseasonably warm February has prompted the trees to blossom, the grass to shimmer green, and the birds chirp in delight. It’s March now, and Mother Nature is still as confused as I am.

These were just a few of the beuatiful blossoms on my evening walk. Another sign of Spring approaching, gloomy grey skies. A couple of days ago, I was walking wearing a short sleeved t-shirt. Today, a different story. Hat, hooded coat, gloves, and a drizzly cold day. I’m so confused!
