Thankful Thursday: Thankful for God’s Art Gallery

10 Oct

“Thank God I have seen an orange sky with purple clouds. How easy it is to forget that we have the privilege of living in God’s art gallery.”
~Erica Goros
What a magnificent quote! Today was a day filled with God’s art gallery and the friends who take His talents to create a gallery of their own.

Yesterday, I captured a beautiful sunset, and today I am able to share a glorious sunrise.

Then, off to the Art Club of McKinney monthly meeting with artist Rusty Jones demonstrating landscape painting.

Followed by lunch and visiting friends on the Square. A short stop home, then off to UNT Denton for our friend Linda Kingsley’s art show. Talk about talent! She is amazing. Lynne, Carolyn, Jill in I were in awe of her paintings and sculpture. Fabulous show!

After the exhibit, we headed back to McKinney and spent a special evening at Lynne’s house, enjoying the fall breeze, a glass of wine, (I had iced tea- no drinking and driving for me.) and conversations of art, inspiration, hopes and dreams.

A day to be thankful for, indeed!
