Wednesday:) What Do You See?

23 Aug

“You know what? Chicken butt!”

~Toni Armenta Andrukaitis

Such a crazy quote, right? When I was a kid, I remember we always used to say, “You know what? You know what?” That was just part of the beginning of every sentence. Then, we had a goofy response. So, when someone would ask, “You know what,” the response would be, “chicken butt.” I have no idea why, or when it started or when in stopped, I just remember it was funny.

So, the other day when I was walking, I saw this shape of tar or some strange substance on the sidewalk. You know what I saw? What do you see?

I saw an elephant’s butt. It looks like an elephant walking away from me. Do you see it? That’s why I thought of the chicken butt thing.

Now do you see it? Yep! A little imagination and a weird perception of the world. It’s a gift…it’s a curse.

Wednesday:) What Do You See?

“Brushing the clouds away from my eyes, I see clarity in the raindrop and beauty in the first ray of morning sun…

Life is strange and wondrous…”

― Virginia Alison

I’ll admit that my head is always in the clouds, and I always see wondrous shapes and figures when I look up. This morning, I saw a beautiful woman, perhaps an angel,  in the clouds. Can you see it? Around the center is the small face, the profile shows the eye, nose, mouth, chin, with a flowing gown draped around her. The wings are off to the left.

Montage Monday: A Week in a Beautiful Peek

“You must give everything to make your life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in your imagination.”
― Roman Pay
This week ranged for grey and gloomy to bright and glorious, often in the same day. Because I walk every day, I have the honor of savoring every bit of nature’s glory, from black grey walls of clouds enveloping the skies to dancing ducks playing and waddling ‘neath the golden rays of sunshine.
A week in a beautiful peek.

Simple Sunday: Shapes and Shadows
