Toni’s Tuesday True-Time Video:) Painting Easy Yellow Roses

4 May

“The gentle rose offers a powerful joy known only to the heart.”
― Andrew Pacholyk

This easy painting project was to quick to make a time-lapse video, it probably would have been a blur of 3 seconds. So, I made a full length video and it was still pretty quick. My favorite yellow rose notecards. It was my friend Lynne’s birthday last Friday, and when I went upstairs to my card collection, I noticed I was out of hand-painted rose cards. So, I sat down and painted. (Of course, I’m an over achiever, so I painted a few extra while the paint was handy.) The funny part is, the card was still wet when I walked out the door to drop off the card and some yellow roses. It dried before I arrived.

*Side note… my sister asked me the other day if there was some way to watch my quick, way too fast time-lapse videos on YouTube. I told her about the small dots on the upper right hand corner of the video that will slow down or speed up a video. I found out by experimenting when I was trying to learn some easy piano songs and they were way too fast for me. 🤦‍♀️

My yellow rose note card and matching envelope.
Over achiever!

Happy Tuesday and MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!!!!

Wednesday:) Well, What Has Miss Toni Been Painting?

21 May

“Do what you love and love what you do. Share all those things, and they’ll always bless you.”

~Toni Armenta Andrukaitis

Well, I’m just about done organizing my “crap room,” so I’ve tried to do a little late night painting. Actually, very little painting, but a little, none the less. Now that I finally devised a makeshift holder for my phone to take videos, I’m all set to share some ideas.

Here’s the quick time-lapse lavender flowers in a blue vase.

And, a longer version of painting a few easy lavender flowers in an oval shape. And, of course, it’s always fun and festive to paint a small flower on the envelope. That makes it very special.

I hope you enjoyed the videos, and maybe give it a try yourself. If it’s seems too difficult, really, it isn’t. I’ve taught MANY people this easy method. If you don’t believe me, when this whole quarantine craziness is done, come on over, and I’ll show you.
